The garden is in a traditional palace which was built in 1913 in the famous Gion neighbourhood of Kyoto . It was the location of a museum of Contemporary Art (FMOCA) closed now , and hosted mainly special exhibitions featuring Yayoi Kusama’s exclusive artworks, a stunning display of her artworks in a traditional Japanese building.
