Quy Nhơn is a coastal city in Bình Định Province, Vietnam, known for its beautiful beaches, historical sites, and rich cultural heritage.

The area that is now Quy Nhơn was once inhabited by the Cham people, who established a powerful civilization in Central Vietnam from the 2nd century AD onward. The Cham people built many temples and cities, some of which remain today, such as the My Son Sanctuary and the Thap Doi Towers, both showcasing their Hindu influences and architectural skills.

During the Nguyen Dynasty (1802–1945), Quy Nhơn developed further as an important port city. It became a center for trade and commerce and served as a key administrative hub in Bình Định Province.
